Thanksgiving 2014

On Thursday, November 24th, Book Lovers Among Students celebrated this year's Thanksgiving.

Despite the fact it was held three days prior to the American Thanksgiving Celebration, the atmosphere was truly festive! Primarily, thanks to you, BLASt friends and members! However, it wouldn't be a real Thanksgiving without a several significant features. So there they were: candles, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin juice, delicious TLSs (Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwiches), and other tasty Thanksgiving snacks.

This year, Natalia SzymaƄska gave us a wonderful presentation entitled “The Crazy Thanksgiving”. Our friend discussed some fun details concerning this event - how witty it was! Thank you Natalia! You indeed made us have a BLASt!

If you weren’t with us that evening, you can check out some of the videos featured in Natalia’s presentation. Click on the links listed below – astonishment guaranteed!

BLASt Thanksgiving Celebration, however, isn’t only about food and having a great time. We like challenges as well! So when almost everything was gone from the tables, we decided to stretch our legs and have our brains ticking over a small literary puns competition.

All in all, lots of fun, good company and definitely the feeling of a full stomach. One may safely say it was a fully fledged Thanksgiving Celebration. See for yourself the Thanksgiving 2014 photo album on our facebook page!
